The Founder of Voice of Specially Abled People (VOSAP), Shri Pranav Desai, embarked on a remarkable journey across India in October 2025, igniting a renewed wave of collaboration, commitment, and compassion toward building an Inclusive India by 2047.

Connecting with the Team in Gujarat

Flying all the way from Los Angeles to Ahmedabad, Shri Pranav Desai began his India trip by meeting the VOSAP India team and volunteers — the driving force behind VOSAP’s growing impact. During his stay in Gujarat, he met with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat and signed an MoU with the Government of Gujarat, further strengthening the partnership for advancing accessibility and empowerment of Divyangjan in the state.

VOSAP Event in Goa: A Landmark Gathering for Disability Inclusion

From Ahmedabad, the VOSAP Founder traveled to Goa on October 10, where he hosted a high-impact event uniting key stakeholders from across India — including State Disability Commissioners, NGO leaders, CSR heads, policy makers, and assistive technology innovators.

Distinguished guests such as Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, DEPwD (Government of India), Shri Subhash Phal Dessai, Social Welfare Minister, Government of Goa, and Shri Rohan Khaunte, Tourism Minister, Government of Goa, graced the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Pranav Desai called upon every government officer, NGO leader, and corporate partner to take decisive, united action with VOSAP as a catalyst — accelerating India’s journey toward Vision 2047: An Inclusive India.

Empowering Divyangjan in Odisha

On October 11, Shri Desai traveled to Bhubaneswar, where he offered prayers at the sacred Shree Jagannatha Temple before attending the VOSAP Mass Enablement Event on October 12 at Rama Devi Women’s University.

The event marked a significant milestone in empowering over 200 Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) through assistive devices.

The event’s Chief Guest was Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi, and other dignitaries included Smt. Bratati Harichandan, State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, and Prof. Chandi Charan Rath, Vice Chancellor, Rama Devi Women’s University.

Continuing his engagements in Odisha, Shri Desai held meetings on October 12 and 13 with Hon’ble Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Hon’ble Governor Dr. Kambhampati Hari Babu, and senior IAS officers to discuss strategies for inclusion and policy collaboration.

Visit to Bengaluru: Advocating for Inclusive India

After his Odisha engagements, the VOSAP Founder flew to Bengaluru on October 13, where he visited Mathrushree Manovikasa Kendra, a non-profit organization providing education, care, and rehabilitation for children with intellectual disabilities. His visit highlighted VOSAP’s commitment to supporting such impactful institutions under initiatives like Project HITARTH.

Later that evening, Shri Desai was hosted by Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka, Shri Thawar Chand Gehlot, for a dinner meeting, during which they discussed the roadmap for realizing Vision 2047: An Inclusive India.
