New Delhi, August 12–15, 2026 — The Bhartiya Vyapar Mahotsav brought together entrepreneurs, innovators, and changemakers from across the country, and this year, accessibility and inclusion took center stage. With over 10 lakh visitors attending over the four days, the Mahotsav was an outstanding success — and VOSAP (Voice of Specially Abled People) partnered with IDEA to power the Ability Expo, sponsoring 15 booths and creating a platform(VOSAP Sahay Zone) for entrepreneurs with disabilities and innovative products built for persons with disabilities to shine — a direct contribution to VOSAP’s Vision 2047 for Divyangjan.
Over 10,00,000 visitors turned out for Bhartiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026, making it one of the largest entrepreneurship platforms of its kind — and Ability Expo 2026 being a part of it, did put inclusive entrepreneurship directly in front of a massive national audience.
A Strong Presence on the Expo Floor
VOSAP’s sponsorship gave a diverse group of entrepreneurs and innovators the space and support to showcase their work to this enormous audience. The sponsored booths included:
- Aame (Traditional Saree business led by Specially Abled Entrepreneurs)
- Art and Dream (art and creative-craft products made by artists with intellectual disabilities)
- Grail Maker (Spacefelt and Vision Nanny — building accessibility and education tools for the visually impaired)
- Brij Kishore enterprises (handcrafted food products by a disability-led entrepreneur)
- Sarita Block Print (hand block-printed textile products by disability-led female artisans)
- Multifly (adaptive, inclusive clothing designed for persons with disabilities, the elderly, and patients)
- Aatm Rang (art and craft products led by 21 year old girl with Learning Disabilities)
- Able Company (Hands-On — an adaptive hand device helping people with limited hand mobility eat, brush, and write independently)
- Gabify (AI-powered screening and therapy platform for speech and neurodevelopmental disorders like autism and ADHD)
- Sunbots (SMARTON — AI-enabled smart glasses that convert the visual world into audio for the blind and visually impaired)
- Fupro (affordable, advanced prosthetic limbs and assistive devices)
- Wheelease (Azadii — a clip-on electric mobility kit that converts manual wheelchairs into powered vehicles)
- Neo Motion (NeoFly and NeoBolt — personalized wheelchairs and motorized add-ons for independent mobility)
By backing these ventures, VOSAP gave founders working on assistive technology, inclusive design, and accessible products a chance to connect directly with visitors — and the Ability Expo turned out to be one of the standout attractions of the Mahotsav.
A Vision of a $1 Trillion Opportunity
The VOSAP Founder addressed the panel with a powerful and motivating message, laying out a bold vision: that the disability sector itself has the potential to contribute $1 trillion to the economy by 2047. His remarks framed accessibility not as a matter of charity, but as an enormous, largely untapped economic opportunity — one that innovators in the room were already building toward, in line with VOSAP’s Vision 2047 for Divyangjan, which sees entrepreneurs with disabilities and disability-focused innovation as central to that growth.
Founders in Conversation
Following the Founder’s address, a 30 minute panel discussion brought several of the sponsored entrepreneurs together on stage with a VOSAP team member and moderator, Mohd Faiz:
- Suket from Sunbots
- Ashwariya from Grailmaker
- Mehul from Multifly
- Dr. Kanan from The Able Company
- Shalini from Aatm Rang
The conversation gave each founder the opportunity to share their personal journey, explain their product in depth, and connect their work directly with the audience. Several panelists took the moment to thank VOSAP and its team for the support that made their participation — and their platform at the Expo — possible.
Gratitude to Partners
None of this would have been possible without the collaboration of the IDEA team, and special thanks go to Mallikarjuna Iytha ji for the efforts and support in bringing this event to life. With over 10 lakh visitors and a resounding response across the board, the Ability Expo at Bhartiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 stands as a testament to what’s possible when organizations come together to champion inclusion, innovation, and economic opportunity for the disability sector.
