Voice of SAP’s Youth Connect program is encouraging college students to do the volunteer work using VOSAP mobile app, inspire their family and friends also and take photographs of building entrances.

85 students did excellent volunteer work, contributed 1,000+ photos of building entrances that will now help wheelchair users as well promote awareness for inaccessible buildings which volunteers can share on social media, send email to building owners from the app with a request to upgrade the building with ramp etc.

The certificate award ceremony was held at Nirma University on April 10. Well respected corporate leader and philanthropist Shri Piyush Desai, Chairman  of Waghbakri Tea and Voice of SAP leadership team of Ahmedabad (Shri Rohit Shah, Manisha Pathak,  Ashish Deliwala and Hardip Dave) gave VOSAP certificate of volunteering to 85 students of Institute of Science, Nirma University. Top 10 volunteers were given VOSAP t-shirts and delivered their speech as how was their experience. When youth joins the social transformation initiative with tools that they like such as mobile app, mass movement can spread rapidly.

Voice of SAP is highly thankful to Dr Anup Singh, Director General (Vice Chancellor) of Nirma University to support the mission, meet with VoSAP team and commit to repeat this program with other departments at Nirma University and include this volunteer program as part of on boarding new students at Nirma.

Entire program was a success because of the initiative of Dr Sonal Bakshi, professor of Institute of Science and her colleague Ms Chhavi Kochar who were supported by Dr Dalai, Head of Department, who inspired students for volunteering with Voice of SAP.
