VOSAP’s first-ever enablement event in Northeast India empowered 15 visually impaired beneficiaries with AI-enabled smart glasses, enhancing their independence, mobility, and access to the world around them. Each beneficiary was carefully evaluated and selected to ensure the technology reached those who could benefit from it most. This landmark initiative marks an important step in advancing disability inclusion and expanding access to assistive technology across the region.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Chandrashekhar H. Vijayashankar, Hon’ble Governor of Meghalaya, as the Chief Guest, along with Dr. Uttam Ojha, Advisor to Voice of SAP, as the Guest of Honour. VOSAP Founder Shri Pranav Desai joined the ceremony virtually from Los Angeles, addressing the gathering late into the night, U.S. time, and marking his presence at this historic milestone.
