On May 29, an inspiring collaborative effort took place in Halvad, as the Voice of Specially Abled People (SAP) and Samaj Suraksha Morbi, with the support of Ashirvaad Viklang Trust and Blind People’s Association Ahmedabad, organized an event that brought significant positive change to the lives of 134 specially abled individuals.

 

The event was joined by esteemed guests, including Hon. Minister of State, Ministry of Ayush and Ministry of Women and Child Development, Dr. Mahendra Munjhpara, Shri Prakash Varmora (MLA Halvad), Shri G.T. Pandya (Collector Morbi), and several dignitaries.

 

The aim of the event was to enable and empower specially abled individuals by providing them with essential Assistive Devices to make them self dependent, live with dignity. Voice of SAP Founder, Shri Pranav Desai, and dedicated volunteers from India and the USA also joined the event virtually, showcasing their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those with disabilities.

 

The 134 beneficiaries were presented with a range of Assistive Devices, tailored to their specific needs. These devices included Sewing Machines, Wheelchairs, Tricycles, Callipers, TLM Kits, Crutches, and other life-enhancing tools. By equipping them with these assistive technologies, the event sought to enhance the mobility, independence, and overall quality of life for these individuals.

 

The event exemplified the power of collaboration and community support in creating a more inclusive society. It showcased the collective effort of organizations, individuals and government dedicated to championing the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.
