Accessible Tourism refers to the concept of making the experience of tourism universally accessible and inclusive for all by creating information, infrastructure and services along with an overall tourism experience, a friendly, safe and a welcoming one.

 

On January 21,2023, Minister of Tourism stated that , Goa will soon have beaches that will be accessible for the specially abled travellers. He also added that the government is working toward and making plans to make select beaches in the state for the same.

 

He added that they are working with the belief that beaches are for all, and to make this easy for them, ramps will be provided for disabled/physically challenged people at select beaches.
