VOSAP visits Rajkot and Modasa to Assess the Impact of Hearing Aids

As part of VOSAP’s ongoing impact assessment, visits were conducted to Virani School (Rajkot) and Behra Munga School (Modasa) to evaluate the usage of distributed hearing aids. Based on the observations, it was recommended that some of the devices be reallocated to students with the potential to get better at hearing with hearing loss lower than 70 dbs, while the SignAble app would support others in communication.

Both schools expressed a need to expand vocational training infrastructure and will submit formal requests. These visits reaffirm VOSAP’s commitment to ensuring that assistive devices translate into measurable outcomes in education and empowerment.
