Voice of Specially Abled People (VOSAP) has taken a significant step forward in its mission to empower persons with disabilities (Divyangjan) by officially expanding its impact into Odisha. A series of high-level meetings with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Hon’ble Governor, and Hon’ble MP Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi ji marked this new chapter of collaboration in the state.

The journey began with the Bhubaneswar Mass Enablement Event, where more than 200 beneficiaries received high-tech assistive devices. Hon’ble MP Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi ji graced the event, spending over three hours with the VOSAP team. Deeply inspired by the impact of VOSAP’s initiatives, Shri Sarangi ji immediately facilitated a meeting with the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha within just six hours.


Vision 2047 Dialogue with the Chief Minister

In a focused 35-minute discussion with the Hon’ble Chief Minister, VOSAP Founder Shri Pranav Desai presented the vision of “Empowered Divyangjan for Vision 2047.” The dialogue highlighted key areas for collaboration, including accessibility, education, skilling, and employment opportunities for Divyangjan in Odisha. The Chief Minister’s encouraging response laid the foundation for future state-level partnerships.


Engagement with the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha

Shri Desai also had the honor of meeting Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, Shri Raghubar Hari Babu Kambhampati. The Governor emphasized the importance of forging partnerships with universities to ensure accessibility across campuses, introduce physiotherapy and inclusion-focused courses, and strengthen policies for reservation and representation of Divyangjan in all sectors. Shri Manoj Sahu, IAS (OSD to CM), also engaged in the discussions, further underlining the Government’s commitment to advancing inclusion.

These strategic engagements signal a transformative moment for disability empowerment in Odisha. By combining VOSAP’s innovative programs with the leadership and vision of the state government, this collaboration aims to accelerate progress toward an inclusive society where Divyangjan have equal opportunities in every sphere of life.


As VOSAP expands its presence in Odisha, it reaffirms its commitment to realizing Vision 2047 – Empowered Divyangjan for a Developed India.
