We are very excited to announce the Winners of Scavenger hunt in the VOSAP Virtual Exhibition of Assistive Technology.

In a ‘Winner’s Session’ hosted on April 17, we announced the Winners in presence of VOSAP Founder, Volunteers from USA and India and VOSAP Team.

 

Let us congratulate these winners:

  1. Fabian Makhdoomi, 2nd year Computer Science student at JIMS University, Delhi
  2. Kshitij Aggrawal, 2nd year B Tech student at Galgotias University, Delhi
  3. Rishi Peddakama, 11th grade student, San Diego, US

We were happy to see how so many young, compassionate students actively participated in the Contest, learnt about a variety of assistive devices in the exhibition and these 3 winners ranked highest with their points in scavenger hunt.

 

 

Fabian is a student of JIMS,Delhi pursuing Bachelor of CA (Second Year) and in a conversation with him we learnt that he studied in an inclusive school and grew up being empathetic towards SAP. He has a passion for gaming and was thrilled to see a platform like this which offered so many features and knowledge of how technology can enable Specially Abled People. He was very interested to learn about products like Smartcane from Torchit, Wheelchair (Neomotion and Indent) at the AT Exhibition.

 

Kshitij is pursuing BTech in Second year from Galgotias University and was very curious about learning the products at platform. He shared the same with his fellow classmates. He was very interested to learn about Smartcane from Torchit, Neomotion Electric Wheelchair, Stairlifts and Turnplus from True Assistive Technology, He also said he is very much interested in marketing of products like these that can help SAP.

 

Rishi is the youngest winner of this competition. He is an 11th Grade student from the USA (San Diego) and is also VOSAP’s Ignite Volunteer. He shared a presentation on what he understood and learnt from the exhibition Platform. He shared that Artificial Intelligence(AI) is his passion and always interests him the most and he also loves coding. He shared how the Product from Cogniable interested and motivated him, and how using AI to understand and evaluate signs of Autism and Early intervention can help a child at a young age. He also shared that he is working on creating a prototype, mobile app on flutter platform (hybrid) for Voice of SAP and is thrilled to share more information about it.

 

We are glad to share that these winners were motivated by the work of Voice of SAP and are excited to join as Volunteers.
