At Shankaracharya Hall, Sardar Patel University, Anand, hope took a powerful, tangible form as Voice of Specially Abled People conducted its Enablement Event, transforming lives through the power of assistive technology. More than 35 visually impaired beneficiaries walked away not just with tools, but with renewed confidence, independence, and belief in their own potential. Rooted in VOSAP’s unwavering philosophy that disability does not define destiny, the event focused on empowering beneficiaries through technology-enabled educational support using the SmartOn Smart App. Each interaction reflected VOSAP’s commitment to harnessing ABILITY, breaking barriers, and opening doors to learning, self-reliance, and opportunity.

The event was graced by Shri Miteshbhai Patel, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Anand, whose words deeply resonated with the audience. He emphasized that when the right tools, proper training, and strong community support come together, they create pathways to education, employment, and true inclusion. His presence reinforced the importance of collective responsibility in building an accessible and equitable society. Adding warmth and encouragement to the occasion was the presence of VOSAP donor Shri Rohitji, along with Ritaben and Vikrambhai, and Shri Dilipbhai Sharma, HOD, Saksham Department, Sardar Patel University. Their support stood as a reminder that meaningful change is powered by compassionate partnerships and shared purpose.

On the ground, Dhruv Chavda, representing VOSAP, ensured the seamless coordination and smooth execution of the program, reflecting the organization’s dedication to excellence in impact delivery. The event was graciously hosted by Setu Trust, represented by Sudhaben K. Patel and Radhaben K. Patel, whose collaboration played a vital role in creating a welcoming and empowering environment.

A key highlight of the day was the hands-on training session conducted by Sunbots Innovation LLP, led by Suket Amin. Through patient guidance and practical demonstrations, beneficiaries learned to effectively use the SmartOn App—turning technology into a trusted companion for learning and daily independence. The smiles, curiosity, and determination on their faces captured the true spirit of the event. Through collaboration, compassion, and cutting-edge technology, VOSAP continues to build bridges where barriers once stood. The Anand Enablement Event was not just a program—it was a powerful step toward a future that is inclusive, empowered, and accessible for all, where every individual is given the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive with dignity.
