VOSAP enabled Visually impaired Students with Smartcanes at Chennai. These beneficiaries were identified through SATHIYAMEH JAYAM CHARITABLE TRUST, which was reached out by VOSAP Volunteers in Chennai Shri Rambaba.
These smartcanes would help students with safe mobility and help them become independent so they can go to college and surroundings. The event on August 15, was joined by VOSAP Volunteer Shri Prasanth to enable these students with the device.
It was heartwarming to engage this students virtually to understand and know their Aspirations. In a conversation, we got to know that these students are studying in a college at Chennai and had aspirations to appear for competitive exams for IAS, banking sector, etc. We also got to know that one of the student was recently appointed for a government post near his hometown. We wish these students best for future.
