Assistive Technologies and Their Use in Education

While the demand for AT in the classroom continues to grow, there is a lack of progress  towards advancing and assessing the assistive technology supply. This research project, conducted by VOSAP Research Interns Sarah Schaefer (USC) and Nehali Shah (UT Austin) identified the most prominent technologies used in education in the US schools and how the government plays a vital role in its implementation in the education system. Their recommendations are based on a primary survey and secondary data collection.
