MSI Events Center, an extraordinary venue, was buzzing with enthusiasm and a sense of achievement on Sept 20, 2026. VOSAP’s Chief patrons, Shri Manubhai and Rikaben Shah, graced the event with their extremely endearing presence and insightful guidance for the next phase of VOSAP’s impact journey.

The key takeaway from his speech was that for the VOSAP ecosystem, ROI means Return on Inclusion, and all the efforts and contributions lead to empowered human lives. This shift in perspective makes the Goal of 1 million-plus beneficiaries more urgent.

Special guest Hoby Wedler, Ph.D., scientist and sensory expert, shared insightful perspectives about human sensory experience through his life story and advocacy work. Dr. Dhiren Buch, an anesthesiologist and versatile singer, performed evergreen songs that the guests danced to and immersed themselves in nostalgia.

VOSAP’s  Return on Inclusion means Opportunity instead of sympathy, Dignity instead of pity, and Independence for PwDs. Founder Pranav Desai presented the roadmap and execution plan to reach 1 million-plus beneficiaries, which will require VOSAP to raise upwards of $55 million in the coming years to fuel growth.

FEATURED STORY: HITARTH SAHAYAKS IN THE KASHMIR VALLEY

GRASSROOTS IMPACT · GANDERBAL, JAMMU & KASHMIR

In Ganderbal, Kashmir, HITARTH Sahayaks have to bring support to the families in scattered small villages in rugged terrain rather than waiting for the family to find it. Project HITARTH closes the last-mile gap in the NIRAMAYA Health Insurance Scheme, which offers eligible persons with disabilities up to ₹1 lakh a year in health-related reimbursements. Sahayaks are trained community facilitators who help families of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities with registration, renewals, documentation and claims, and follow-up until the benefit arrives, covering services such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, dental care and outpatient treatment.

Hitarth Sahayak, Aquib, has helped process more than 200 claims. The project also gives Sahayaks a way to earn a living, and with partner PARIVAAR-NCPO, VOSAP is building a network of Sahayaks to take this model across India
