On 29th December 2025, the Voice of Specially Abled People (VOSAP) successfully organized an impactful empowerment event at Gandhi Smarak Bhawan, Chandigarh, reaffirming its commitment to inclusive development through technology. The event was held in collaboration with the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Chandigarh, with the generous support of Rotary Club Chandigarh Central.
The highlight of the event was the distribution of AI-enabled Smart Glasses to 37 visually impaired students, enabling them to access information, navigate their surroundings, and pursue education with greater independence and confidence. Additionally, one student received the Orbit 20 device, a powerful assistive tool that opens new pathways to learning, communication, and self-reliance.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Mrs. Madhvi Kataria (IAS), State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, Chandigarh, as the Chief Guest. Her continued leadership and dedication to strengthening inclusive ecosystems have played a crucial role in advancing the rights and opportunities of persons with disabilities. Her presence added immense value and encouragement to the beneficiaries and stakeholders alike.
VOSAP extends its heartfelt gratitude to Rotary Club Chandigarh Central and Rtn. S. P. Ojha for their unwavering support and commitment toward empowering persons with disabilities through assistive technology. Their collaboration reflects the power of partnerships in creating sustainable social impact.
The event was further enriched by the virtual presence of Shri Pranav Desai, Founder, VOSAP, whose visionary leadership continues to guide VOSAP’s mission of leveraging technology with empathy to create meaningful change. His message reinforced the belief that innovation, when driven by compassion, can truly transform lives.
Through initiatives like this, VOSAP continues to bridge the gap between ability and opportunity, ensuring that persons with disabilities are equipped not just with devices, but with dignity, independence, and hope for a brighter future.
Together, we reaffirm our belief that technology, guided by empathy, has the power to change lives.
