Varanasi, August 23, 2025 – With the blessings of Shri Kashi Vishwanath, Voice of Specially Abled People (VOSAP) successfully organized its flagship campaign, VOSAP Vision Drive 2025, in the spiritual city of Varanasi. The event took place at Shri Hanuman Prasad Poddar Blind School, Durga Kund, and stood as a symbol of collective commitment towards blessings, encouragement, and inclusivity.

The event was graced by the presence of Shri Himanshu Shekhar Jha, Commissioner, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha, Director, Composite Regional Centre (CRC) for Skill Development, Rehabilitation, and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. Their inspiring words and active participation further strengthened the importance of joint efforts towards building an inclusive society.

Joining virtually from the United States, Mr. Pranav Desai, Founder of VOSAP, shared his vision of leveraging technology and community partnerships to transform lives. He emphasized that with the right assistive devices, every beneficiary can achieve self-reliance and contribute meaningfully to society. Mr. Desai also expressed gratitude to Dr. Uttam Ojha (VOSAP Advisor), hearing specialist Aman Pandey, local NGOs, the SmartON team, volunteers, and parents, whose dedicated efforts made this program possible.

Representing VOSAP on-ground, Mr. Dhruv Chavda, Enablement Manager, interacted with beneficiaries and ensured the smooth distribution of assistive devices.

A total of 150 beneficiaries received life-transforming assistive devices during the event. These included:

SmartON Smart Glasses, SmartON Smart App, Android-based Smart Crutches, Walkers, CP Walkers, Digital Hearing Aids, Standard Wheelchairs, Vision Wallets 

These devices are not just tools of assistance, but symbols of dignity, independence, and hope for a brighter future.

The execution partner Sunbots Innovation LLP, represented by Mr. Faiz, played a crucial role in ensuring the event’s success with their dedication and expertise. The program was anchored and coordinated by VOSAP’s Advisor Dr. Uttam Ojha, who ensured seamless management.

With the inclusion of Varanasi, VOSAP Vision Drive 2025 has now expanded its reach to 15 cities across India. The campaign continues to progress towards providing sustainable, technology-driven, and large-scale solutions for the empowerment of persons with disabilities.

VOSAP extended heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, partner organizations, and well-wishers whose blessings and contributions transformed this event into a true celebration of empowerment.
