VOSAP Founder Shri Pranav Desai, along with our partner Parivaar and Parivaar’s President Dr. Pankaj Maru, recently held a heartfelt call with our 26 HITARTH Sahayaks who joined from across India in a Zoom meeting.
Till July, 61 HITARTH Sahayaks in 13 states have helped more than 11,000 IDs in 13 states of India, facilitating a total claim settlement of more than ₹70 lakhs — an achievement that would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our Sahayaks.
The conversation was truly inspiring, and it was heartwarming to witness the impact that VOSAP, in partnership with Parivaar, has been able to create — not only for families of individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) but also for the dedicated Sahayaks themselves.
Hearing directly from our Sahayaks (social workers), we were moved by the tremendous work they are doing in rural India. Each of them has been supporting hundreds of individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID) in obtaining Niramaya health insurance cards. In the process, some — like Raghav Singh — are earning an additional income of ₹25,000–30,000 per month and have helped settle over ₹11 lakhs in claims. Another example is Chandan Singh, who has supported 258 beneficiaries and facilitated claim settlements totaling over ₹13 lakhs. These powerful stories reflect the kind of meaningful impact our Sahayaks are making — not only in the lives of others, but also in their own.
As we continue to hear more such impactful stories and learn from their dedication, VOSAP remains deeply grateful to Parivaar and all our Sahayaks for the incredible impact they are making and will continue to make in the lives of so many.
